Breakthrough Scholarship for Crime & Thriller Writers of Colour
This scholarship will award one talented writer of colour with limited financial means a place on our Writing Crime & Thrillers – Advanced course.
Breakthrough Scholarship for Memoir Writers with Low Income
This scholarship will award one talented writer with limited financial means a place on our Writing Memoir & Narrative Non-Fiction course.
Breakthrough Scholarship for Short Story Writers with Low Income
This short story scholarship will award one talented writer with limited financial means a place on our new Writing Short Stories – Advanced course.
HW Fisher Novel-Writing Scholarship for Writers with Low Income
This scholarship, sponsored by HW Fisher, will award one talented writer of limited financial means a place on our London-based Writing Your Novel – Three Months course.
UTA Scholarship for TV Screenwriters with Low Income
New screenwriting scholarship sponsored by the UTA Foundation. One talented writer with limited financial means will receive a place to join us in London for our Writing TV Drama – Three Months course.
Breakthrough Class of 2024
In 2024 we supported 20 talented, under-represented writers via our Breakthrough Writers' Programme – funded by Curtis Brown, HW Fisher and individual author-sponsors.

Our central programme of scholarships is funded by the Curtis Brown Group and Curtis Brown’s literary agents.
